ortunia occupies a cliffside overlooking a beautiful waterfall on Gomahara in the Fortunate Isles. This island was once called Capraria by the ancients, in reference to the many goats on this island.

The conventum proper is situated on the cliffside and in the valley below, in a fifth magnitude magical aura; covenfolk who do not directly serve the magi live in Artenara, a village to the east; although the aura weakens downstream, it remains fourth magnitude for more than a thousand paces downstream, eventually tapering off into a third magnitude aura, like that of most of the island.

As a locus of Capitulum Arcis Caelitis, Fortunia is governed by Chartula Arcis Caelitis and Chartula Emendationis Fortuniae. Fortunia is registered as a conventum in Tribunal Africae, which recognizes its relationship with Arx Caeles, but accepts magi Fortuniae as registered in Africa and subject to Leges Peripheriae Africae. Fortunia's registration with Domus Merceris is at Abyla, Sedes Merceris Africae, and thus Redaps do not travel to Fortunia, nor have any ever been there. Magi Fortuniae must travel to Abyla to receive correspondence.
