ohemian Rhapsody is a saga, or series of stories, that takes place within the world of Mythic Europe, created for role-playing using the Ars Magica 5th Edition game rules published by Atlas Games. These stories concern the lives and adventures of a group of mystical wizards, members of the mythic Ordo Hermei (Order of Hermes).

Ordo Hermei is an order of wizards, called magi, which spans the whole of Mythic Europe. Magi are bound by an oath, the Lex Hermei or Code of Hermes, that keeps them from fighting each other (too much) or trying to rule the mundane population of Mythic Europe.  Within the Order of Hermes, many magi choose to gather together in small groups called covenants.  A covenant is a group of magi bound together by an agreement going beyond the Code of Hermes.

Stories in the Bohemian Rhapsody Saga focus on Porta Germaniae, the home of the central characters in the saga, located in Tribunal Germaniae.
