Her sigillus, the smell of loamy soil with a tang of recent rainfall, often lingers around her, providing a natural perfume. She rarely adds any other scent. Danalia's sigillum is a gold disc inlaid with a crystal surrounded by a polished cabochon ruby, sapphire, and purple agate. Mordax, her fox Familiaris, is often at her feet or resting nearby. Danalia has developed many original spells and enchantments, many focusing on practical improvements for the Foedus. With the assistance of her filia Placida, her paramour Lucas Faber Jerbitonis, and his filius Caelius, she has also completed a masterpiece enchantment, Arx Caeles. Danalia's first filius, Jacenty, traveled east into his native Poland following his Provocatio in 1236 AD; he has not been seen since that time, and Danalia has resigned herself to his probable demise in the chaos of the Mongel invasion. Danalia claimed Placida as her second filia in 1244 AD, and Matyas Depennatus in 1259 AD as her third discipulus. In 1261 AD, Danalia took her masterpiece, Arx Caeles, to Durenmar for Tribunal Grandis. While at Durenmar, Danalia was invited to challenge Archimaga Martiena Tytali, and after defeating her in Certamen in the Arts of Muto & Aquam, achieved her title of Archimaga. Danalia occupies the basement levels of Věž Tajuplný. She speaks Dalmatian, Latin, some German and Czech, and a smattering of Serbian and Magyar. Danalia is protected by Custos Jaromir; her previous custos Benedikt has retired from active service.
