ayt Wuhusin, "Beast Home" in Arabic, sits at the side of a lovely pool and waterfall in the western Atlas Mountains, a short distance from Agadir. Many animals live in the surrounding forests and hills, including mouflon, gazelles, boar, foxes, cats, polecats, ichneumons, hyenas, and small apes, as well as many birds.

Small herds of camels and goats browse near the conventum proper, where the sounds of children playing echo in the canyon.
