| Description | ||
| This paradigm alters the recipient's time-state, allowing her to act more quickly than others. The recipient experiences outside events as somewhat slower than they would otherwise appear to be. | ||
| Effects | |||
| This is a very advanced and specialized paradigm, which cannot be cast except in a highly optimized form. Few sorcerers are capable of researching or casting this paradigm. | |||
| Scope | Base Scope (2
points) Scope is altering a Form (3 points). Range is Personal. Area is N/A Duration Interval is one minute (Moderate: 4-9 points). This duration is long enough for most uses. |
||
| Potency | Enhancement / Hindrance: This paradigm adds Option Points to the recipient's total for each Action Interval, effectively allowing her to do more in the same period of time. Multiply the number of Option Points gained by three to obtain the Potency cost. A typical version would add 7 OPs and cost 21 points. | ||
| Intricacy | Manipulates
Time (Epic, 21-35 points). Penetration: Reality barrier (Mythic, 36-50 points). So that the recipient can continue to interact with the "normal" world, this effect penetrates Reality barriers (the difference in time states between the recipient and the rest of the world) |
||
| Total Base Cost | Spontaneous: (120), Optimized: 87 | ||
| Temper Aspects | Maintain might be useful (1 point) | ||
| Notes | ||
| This isn't the only way to get extra OPs, but its the only way to add a lot of OPs if the recipient is already fairly quick. Even a recipient with 10-12 OPs will get a huge boost from this effect. | ||
