| Description | ||
| Mind Link establishes voluntary mental contact between the recipient of the effect (normally the caster) and the target mind. Conscious surface thoughts can be exchanged, but not sensation or deeper thoughts or memories. | ||
| Effects | |||||||||||||
| This paradigm conjures the thoughts of the recipient to another mind (normally, a person familiar to the target, although more intricate versions can attempt contact with unfamiliar minds). If the target mind accepts contact, two-way communication can be Maintained for the duration of the effect. This paradigm does not allow coercive mind-reading by either party, but does count as mental contact (and thus some degree of trust and confidence must usually exist between the two parties). | |||||||||||||

is useful once contact has been initiated and accepted. Anchor could be useful for long-term communication at lesser distances. |

| Notes | ||
| Less familiar targets can be contacted, but this is unusual, both because of the higher cost associated with such an effect, and because an unfamiliar mind is highly unlikely to accept such contact from a strange source. | ||
