Although each deity in the world of Geoza is unique, with distinct conceptual and philosophical aspects, for the purposes of game mechanics, many deific Origins are quite similar in function.
Most deific Origins in Geoza share these common elements:
1) Faith is the Primary Trait, and Affinity is generally equal to Faith for sentient beings.
Note: Although this does mean that those with high faith in a deity would ordinarily be harder to affect, all deific Origins allow the faithful to Invite the power of the deity, reducing their affinity.   Some deific Origins also mandate power over the faithful, allowing adepts to lower the affinity and bypass the passive resistance of those who have met the conditions of faith for that deity.
2) Availability Level is equal to Domain Relevance.  Adepts will generally be better able to access the power of their deity when they are in a situation with higher domain relevance.  Note that domain relevance for the purpose of accessing Omnessence may be different than domain relevance for the purpose of casting an effect.
3) Access to Omnessence is Restricted, based on the philosophical condition that the adept must have received a True Calling to the service of the deity, and that the adept have a Faith attribute with that deity (or pantheon, in some cases) as the object.  The adept must also meet the spiritual condition of being in a state of appropriate favor with the deity, and using the method of prayer or supplication specified by the deity.  Although the degree of ceremony required may vary from deity to deity, the condition must be met by adepts of all deities.
4) The Omnessence Nature of the Origin is Dynamic (Interpreted).  The deity may always choose to restrict or alter the specifics of a given effect to suit his or her will.
5) Casting an effect requires the adept to meet the same spiritual condition as for accessing the Omnessence.  In most cases this is essentially a technical point, since most deific Origins do not allow Omnessence to be stored, and therefore the adept must access the Omnessence immediately before using it.  However, some deities do allow Omnessence to be stored, and in such cases using that Omnessence requires the same spiritual condition as for access.
Most other elements of deific Origins will differ from deity to deity.  However, the use of this "generic" profile will suffice for any deific Origin which has not been specifically defined.
