sgarran is a wiry Welshman dressed in typical huntsman's garb - leather breeches and boots, woolen tunic and cloak. | ||
| He carries a dagger and several throwing knives, as well as a Welsh longbow and quiver of arrows. When Ysgarran goes to the mainland to scout, he often adopts a variety of disguises, ranging from simple peasants to a travelling freeman. He has a keen eye for detail, and often notices things that others overlook. | |||

Welshman from Gwynned, Ysgarran made some enemies in his homeland, and so sought refuge in the isles of the Irish Sea. | ||
| After a chance encounter with Philograccus and company, Ysgarran settled at Fitheach Tigh, and now uses his extensive knowledge of the area to scout for the Covenant. Ysgarran is very reclusive, so what little time he does spend at Fitheach Tigh he remains aloof from others, giving terse reports to the Council of Magi (and Manus and Lucas, on occasion) but speaking little, if at all, to anyone else. He spends a lot of time hunting deer, rabbits, and birds, when he's not on a scouting mission. | |||
