Access: Quality of supplies is equal to those available to the minor clergy. The Covenant has its own well inside the walls, and raises cattle, sheep, goats, and chickens, as well as a small subsistence fishing operation.  The covenfolk also tend small gardens of leeks, potatoes, and greens.  The village on the far side of the island is a source for most routine supplies which the Covenant cannot supply for itself (flour, for example). For other general supplies, the Covenant trades with Clan Mac Donald on Islay, a two-day journey.   For special supplies, the Covenant must send to a larger city such as Dublin or Waterford in Eire, Anglesay in Wales, or as far as Bristol in England, all of which are at least a week distant. Seclusion: Although the Covenant is out of the normal trade routes, its location between Eire and mainland Britain makes it a stopover for those who wish to avoid the usual routes. The villagers on the island also journey to the Covenant to seek out the healers who live there, or to seek the Covenant's ruling on a matter of common law (The Covenant is responsible for the island as a whole, and the villagers look to it for authority in such matters). Now that the Covenant lies in a Regio, villagers go to the Hamlet more often.  On the average, about one traveler every three months will arrive at the Covenant. (+4)

Environment: Overall, the environment around the Covenant is good. The firth is protected from the worst of the Irish Sea, and temperatures are temperate most of the year.  Now that the strong Aura has been restrained in the Regio, there is no longer a strong warping effect. (0)
