Description
capital_b.gif (2518 bytes) rian is a shifty-eyed little weasel of a man, who nonetheless manages to earn the loyalty of every animal he's around.
Brian isn't good with people, but with animals he's great.  Brian's constant companion is his Irish Wolfhound Cara ("friend").  Brian dresses in shabby but functional tunic, breeches, and cloak.  His boots are almost always in need of mending, but seem to work alright anyway. 
Background
capital_b.gif (2518 bytes) orn in northern Eire, where he spent many a day hunting deer and boar through the woods, Brian was also known to take a goat or cow every now and then.
Eventually, the herders started hunting Brian.  So he left Eire to seek better times in the Isles, and fell into this Grog job at the Covenant as a way to get his meals and a warm fire.  Brian likes it here well enough, and took a liking to a flashy English swordsman named Terrence, who's trying to teach him to use a sword (not that he's ever held one before in his life).  Brian's especially good with dogs, and he's takin' to training some of the smarter ones in the covenant.  Terrence's big mastiff Blackie is a fine animal, then there's a big Airedale terrier that hunts vermin in the keep, and of course there's lots of collie and corgi herders helping with the flocks.
